PGMC donated 5 units kayak boats to DENR in support for its River for Life project the Baoy river between the Municipality of Claver and Gigaquit in Surigao del Norte. The river extends to Barangay Bagakay in Claver which is the recipient of PGMC’s ecotourism project.
The DENR turnovers the said boat worth PHP 238, 500.00 to barangay Bagakay through the Peoples Organization “BARUTO”. The boat will be used in the mangrove trail ecotourism project for income generation.
