PGMC Turnovers Aquaculture Livelihood Project to “BARUTO” People’s Organization

Inspired by the Chinese Proverbs, PGMC turnovers aquaculture project to Bagakay River United Tourism Organization “BARUTO”. The aquaculture is part of PGMC’s food security project initiated at the height of the pandemic last year which aims to provide long-term food sufficiency to the communities at the same time additional income to the recipient families.

The turnover was personally witness by Engr. Glenn Marcelo C. Noble-MGB-13 Regional Director, Hon. Georgia Gokiangkee – Mayor of Claver, SDN. And Hon.  Noel Opusa – Chairman, Barangay Bagakay. Strict health protocol was observed during the turnover ceremony.

The 21 members people’s organization  was organized by PGMC  as recipient of the PHP 900,000.00 worth project under food security program realigned from 2020 EPEP funds.
